Walter W. Schiemann Sr

Walter William Schiemann Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024 after a brief stay in the ICU. He was surrounded by his loved ones when he stepped into eternity. He was born on March 5, 1936 to Edward and Anna (Ziemer) Schiemann. He attended Gladwin High School then went to work on numerous jobs including time in the Army, farming, welder, large machine operator and trucker. He loved people and he later became committed to his Lord and Savior, Jesus. He leaves behind his wife, Jean (Beutler) Schiemann which he spent many winters in Texas with. He was also the oldest of four siblings, two are deceased, Dorothy Stehlik and Richard Schiemann, and surviving sister Linda Schiemann. He has three children, Lonnie (Randy) Ulrich, Lettie Krell, and Walt (Tracy) Schiemann Jr. and his grandchildren, Joshua & Javin Schiemann, Mikhayla (Nathan) Hogan, Caleb, Claire, Jordan, Josiah & Oliva Ulrich and one great-grandson, Fisher Hogan. Funeral Services will be held September 7, at 11 am with Pastor Emily presiding with inurnment in the Christ the King Memorial Gardens. Family will greet friends and family at the church on September 7, 2024 from 10 am until funerals service. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christ the King Lutheran Church, Gladwin Michigan, or to the Operation Mobilization, at www.omusa.org. Funeral services were entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-GLADWIN CHAPEL.
