Hugh Oliver Warren age 82 of Harrison, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Clare. Hugh was born December 18, 1941, the son of Oliver Charles Warren and Olenda (Maser) Warren. Hugh graduated from Harrison Community Schools in 1960. Hugh was united in marriage to Ms. Harriet Alice Chrispell on January 19, 1973, in Houghton Lake, Michigan. Mrs. Warren preceded Hugh in death on July 26, 2011. Hugh spent most of his employment working with heavy equipment, from working for his father, in the oil fields and finally retiring in 2001 from the Clare County Road Commission.
Hugh was happiest operating a piece of equipment, riding snowmobiles, motorcycles or just hanging out in his garage. Hugh was an avid bowler, NASCAR and Detroit Tigers Fan. He cherished his time spent traveling with his wife Harriet.
Surviving Mr. Warren are his two daughters: Jennifer Warren of Harrison, and Anne Gendregske also of Harrison, one brother, Ralph Warren and wife Carolyn of Fenton, Michigan. Hugh also was preceded in death by his parents.
