Jeanette Mary Bartkowiak “Jan” Bartkowiak, 87, of Harrison, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 3, 2024. Jan was a member of the Clare County Sheriff’s Reserves, a Meals on Wheels Driver for 19 years, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband Don, son, Ron, her parents, Anton and Mary Levandoski and her siblings, Bernice Cavacece, Eunice O’Hare, and Anthony Levandoski. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Masserant, grandchildren Amanda (Richard) Smeeding and Aaron Masserant, and great-grandchildren, Corban, Elijah and Amelia Smeeding. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for the National Police Dog Foundation at https://www.nationalpolicedogfoundation.org. Services will be held on August 24 at 10:00 am at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
