Donald Ray Bobo

Donald Ray Bobo age 90 of Harrison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Clare. Donald was born July 5, 1933, in Alf, Arkansas, the son of Earl Ralph Bobo and Nettie Josiephine (Whisenhunt) Bobo. Donald honorably enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bobo was united in marriage to Ms. Evelyn Marie Smith on October 31, 1955, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mrs. Bobo preceded Donald in death on May 19, 2015, after fifty-nine years of marriage.

Mr. Bobo retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of dedicated service.

Donald had resided in Harrison since 1988, moving from Madison Heights, Michigan. Donald was a member of: National Association Letter Carriers Branch #3126 of Royal Oak, Michigan and American Legion Post 253 of Royal Oak, Michigan. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed spending time golfing and

making friends at The Tamaracks of Harrison.

Surviving Mr. Bobo is his brother, Lee Bobo of Harrison, one nephew, Harold Bobo and wife Sandy of Harrison, one niece, Diane Walker and husband Buck of Bay City, Michigan, plus extended family and friends. Mr. Bobo also was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Cecil Bobo, one sister, Dorothy Pullen and two sisters-in-law: Diane Bobe and Marlene Bobo.
