Karen Lee Archamboult

Karen Lee Archamboult, age 80, of Harrison passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the University of Michigan Health - Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

A Visitation Gathering for Karen will be held at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 2 until 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Karen was born on May 17, 1945, in Detroit, daughter of Carlisle Lewis and Irene Pearl (Duvole) Lussier. She married Richard "Dick" Archamboult, on July 4, 1976, and continued to raise her family in Harrison. Karen had worked at Mid-Michigan College for over 30 years as an administrator. She enjoyed crafting and was talented with needle and thread, mastering knitting, embroidering, and needle felting, even winning a blue ribbon at the Clare County Fair. She loved to cook, flower garden, and groom her yard. She was often found watching cooking shows or old westerns. Family was the center of Karen's world; she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her daughters, Rochelle Hall of Mt. Pleasant and Rhonda (Carl) Jolly of Ashley; five grandchildren, Christopher Wright, Joshua Eckhout, Richard Jolly, Michael (Ashley McCulley) Jolly, and Mathew Jolly; seven great-grandchildren, Alexis Jolly, Carson Jolly, Alicia McCulley, Melina Jolly, Kayden Jolly, Brayden McCulley, and Emmett McCulley; nieces and nephews, Chuck Hadley, Larry Scott Szyska and Family, Mick (Samantha) Clark; and close family friends, Stacy (Heidi) Brown and Marci Kiger.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Archamboult on January 17, 2016; parents; sister, Patricia Clark; niece, Sharon Hadley; and nephews, Cliff Hadley and Kary Szyska.
