Four Friends, Two Lucky Prize Drawings

The four lucky friends shown here won the Harrison Chamber and the Clare Chamber Queen of Hearts drawings last week. Their tickets were purchased jointly and marked with “4 of 4” since they were four of four ladies. When their winning tickets were drawn, both Chambers erroneously reported the ladies represented VFW Post 1075 in Harrison. The ladies are actually members of the American Legion Post 404 in Harrison. They didn’t buy the tickets representing any organization and used their own funds, but all are active in the community and plan to use their winnings to help others in need locally. They were all very surprised and felt very blessed to win both drawings.

In Harrison, the ladies each put in $10 and bought 20 tickets for four weeks. It was the first time they had purchased tickets for the Clare drawing. Both Chambers will run the Queen of Hearts raffle again with Clare’s at the Time Out Tavern every Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Harrison’s drawing at Snowbird Lanes every Monday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at both businesses hosting the drawings.
