Truck vs Buggy Hit and Run in Arthur Township

On Jan. 6, deputies from the Clare County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle versus Amish buggy accident on S. Bailey Lake Avenue and E. Lincoln Road in Arthur Township. Further information provided to Clare County Central Dispatch indicated that the vehicle fled the scene. Based on vehicle parts left behind at the scene, deputies determined the suspect vehicle is either a Ford F-450 or F-550 truck between the years of 2017-2024. There should also be significant front passenger side damage to the vehicle.

There were no injuries reported from this crash.
