Quilt of Valor Awarded

HARRISON – Claude Miller of Harrison was presented with a Quilt of Valor on Monday, Sept. 9 at Veterans Freedom Park for his service in the U.S. Army. Presenting the quilt was Judy Tritten, Quilts of Valor Organization representative. Miller served from 1968 to 1970.  He served in the Republic of Vietnam, Delta, 9th Infantry Division, "Old Reliables."  Miller was part of the Mobile Riverine Force. He is the recipient of a Bronze Star, National Defense Medal, RVN Gallantry Cross, and the RVN Service Medal, and was honorably discharged as an E5.
