            Linda Lou Weldon, age 75 of Harrison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Pioneer Estates in Clare. Linda was born Wednesday, August 2, 1950, in Gladwin, Michigan the daughter of Bessie (Abbott) Allen and Glen Wallace Allen.

            Linda married her high school sweetheart, Dean Weldon in October 1968 and they were blessed with two daughters, Dena in 1969 and Heather in 1971.

            She graduated from MJ Murphy Beauty College for Cosmetology and did hair for over 40 years. During her long career she owned and operated The Clip Joint in Rosebush and The Doll House and Hair Dimensions in Harrison.

            Using her many talents, she met the needs of many. She was devoted to healthy eating, clean food, walking, exercising and helping and encouraging others through her faith in God.

            Linda’s greatest joy in life was her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She lived a life devoted to family, faith and her community.

            Surviving Linda is her loving husband of 57 years, Mr. Dean Weldon of Harrison, two daughters; Dena (Jim), and Heather (Jeff), grandchildren, Tyler, Sawyer, Gabriel, Savannah, Zachary, Caleb, great grandchildren, Bentley and Isabella, her sister Josephine and brother Phillip.

            She was preceded by her parents Glen and Bessie Allen, her brother Rex Allen and niece Kimberly Sue Allen.

            Funeral services honoring Linda will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from Trinity Christian Life Center, 236 East Park Street, Harrison with Pastor Scott Leutz officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Trinity Christian Life Center and will resume on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will at Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison. A luncheon and time of gathering will follow burial at: Threshing Floor, 236 East Park Street, Harrison. Memorial gifts in memory of Linda may be considered to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the church during visitation and service.
