Lake Man Sentenced for Methamphetamine Possession, and More

Joel Donavan Bauer, of Lake, Michigan, plead guilty in three separate files on June 27, 2024. He plead guilty to Police Officer Flee and Elude 2nd Degree, habitual 3rd offender in one file; Possession of Methamphetamine, habitual 3rd offender in the second file; and Possession of Methamphetamine and Police Officer Flee and Elude 3rd Degree, habitual 3rd offender in the third file. He was sentenced to prison on all three files.

In the first file he was sentenced to serve 2 years to 20 years, with credit for 207 days already served. In the second file he was sentenced to serve 2 years to 20 years, with credit for 235 days already served. And, in the third file he was sentenced to serve 2 years to 20 years and 2 years to 10 years respectively, with credit for 236 days already served. All sentences were ordered to run concurrent with one another. He was ordered to pay $1762 total across the three files in miscellaneous fines, costs, and fees.
