In Loving Memory of Margaret M. Corlew

Margaret Marie Corlew, born March 30, 1965, in the City of Redford TWP., Wayne County Michigan. She is a beloved daughter of God and follower of Jesus Christ, cherished as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer on August 18, 2026, at the age of 61. A woman deepened in her faith as the years, months, weeks, and days passed increasing her love not only for God but her mother, father, children, brothers, sisters, and all whom she spent time toiling in the folly while searching for the bread of life. She passed comfortably being well loved and honored as a mother anointed and prepared for Jesus Christ.

As a mother devoted to her children, she would move mountains and brave valleys. Maggie started her adult life in the service industry as a waitress with a passion for business and a knack for accounting. To many she was their waitress others their tax accountant others their bookkeeper and eventually found herself managing homes and businesses across many states. From Massachusetts to Geogia, from Wisconsin to Tennessee back to Michigan until she rests in Tennessee; she cared for grandchildren, nieces, nephews, mothers and fathers, and sons and daughters. As every human has the innate ability to be more difficult than we ought to be, her effortless long nights working, driving, cleaning, and cooking made the mass of mess she was even more worth it! She will be greatly missed for she was a cornerstone in many lives but the blessings and skills she passed on to all, from God, should be praised and all should know she no longer suffers as she rests in the Kingdom of Heaven. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

As condolences have poured into and throughout our family, we feel our Fathers love deeper than ever before. To those who have spent days or weeks or months or years and for some decades with her, thank you for your love and endurance in this journey of life. For the couches and fridges and vehicles and rides and laughs and arguments and joy and tears, thank you. Special thanks to the staff and management of GPM who became the last company Maggie managed for. They took wonderful care and supported her well over the last year of her life. Thank you to Covenant Medical Center, Covenant Hospice of Saginaw, MI, and Sun Crest Hospice of Clarksville, TN for the care and support you provided. Thank you, God, for this woman you gave us.

Maggie is survived by her father Stephen Maczynski, her brother Thomas Maczynski, her sisters Lori Kasper, Lisa Manor, Mary Roberts, Cheryl Maczynki, her sons Clifford Maczynski, Michael Maczynski, Casey Corlew and Daughter-in-Law Ashley Corlew, and her twelve grandchildren Damian Maczynski, Gavin Lawrence, Dakoda Lawerence, Aiden Lawrence, Elianna Maczynski, Gary Maczynski, Elena Maczynski, Michael Maczynski Jr., Dustin Jones Jr., Cleopatra Jones, Ryin Corlew, and Timothy Jones. Honoring her wishes, a cremation will take place.
