Giannola Receives Zeen Mobility Device from Fundraising Efforts

After surviving a traumatic accident on February 14, 2022, Veto Giannola has felt nothing but love from his community. From prayers, thoughtfulness, fundraisers and benefits. He would like to express since gratitude to the people and businesses that have supported him. Their generosity and thoughtfulness have truly made a difference in his life.

The latest benefit was organized and led by Doug Kennedy. On Sept. 29 approximately, 150 people attended the event and over 30 businesses and individuals made donations. This benefit was to help purchase a Zeen Mobility device to help Veto walk again. Veto received his chair on Nov. 4 and he has already made great progress.

This helped him to remember the importance of kindness and compassion within our community. He hopes one day to have the opportunity to pay it forward and make a difference in someone else's life just as the community has done for him and touched his life in a meaningful way.

A Zeen mobile is an advanced mobility device that combines the functions of a wheelchair, walker, and standing aid. It supports users in a centered, hands-free, upright posture to allow them to walk or "coast" more safely, while also providing the ability to sit down or transition to standing. It is designed for individuals who have the ability to walk short distances but need assistance with stability and fall prevention, and can be used for activities like shopping, cooking, or conversing at eye-level.
