HARRISON – Rodeo Band kicked off the first Friday Nite Delight event of the season on May 29. They played their renditions of country songs while providing commentary and jokes that the crowd laughed and cheered for.

A small crowd of attendees pulled up camp chairs and gathered around to listen to the music at this first event of the summer at the Harrison Town Square.

Along with a show, food was offered from the The Bros food truck serving hibachi, egg rolls and more. The event was sponsored by the Harrison Downtown Development Authority.

Future Friday Nite Delights will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 5, July 10 and Aug. 7, all at the Town Square.

The Clare Summer Concert Series is a similar event held at Shamrock Park in Clare from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday June 4 to Aug. 13. For more community events, visit the community calendar on the Cleaver website: www.clarecountycleaver.net.
