Farwell golf takes part in tri-meet at Houghton Lake

The Farwell golf team went to Houghton Lake on Monday, May 11 to take part in a tri-meet with Pine River and host Houghton Lake, at the Quest Golf Course.

Brayden Travis led the Eagles with a 49 at the 9-hole event. Jamison Santure hit a 54, Hunter Miller carded a 55, Cal Mog came in with a 58, Cooper Blodget shot a 62 and Spencer Brown added a 67.

On Thursday, Farwell was at Sandy Ridge Golf Course for an 18-hole Jack Pine Conference event, hosted by Meridian. The Eagles had just three golfers for the day and were unable to get an official team score.

They had Travis lead them with a 94, Blodgetsh hit a 119 and Santure was able to finish with a 120.

Farwell competes in a Division 4 regional meet on Tuesday, at Betsie Valley Golf Course in Thompsonville.
