Easter Star Coleman Chapter #281 Support Community Programs with Donations

Coleman Chapter #218 of the Order of the Eastern Star recently provided financial support to local community youth and historical preservation programs.

Funding received through the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation was distributed to four area groups: Clare Diamond Kings 11U Baseball, Coleman Youth Cheer Squad, Midland County Youth Leadership, and the Coleman Historical Society. The Coleman OES chapter is pleased to support these programs that contribute to the betterment of area youth and help preserve local history for the education of future generations. Checks were presented by Ann Sigsby and Carey Barker

Check presentations were accepted on behalf of the several organizations by the following:

  • Clare Diamond Kings 11U Baseball: Eric Cozat, Matt Shaffer, Nick Swebe
  • Coleman Youth Cheer Squad: Kari Wedge, Coleman Railway Family Center Director of Operations, Ashlee Moore, Cheer Coach, Darci Cole, Assistant Coach, Cheer members Hadley Green, Mayela Cordova, Heidi Cole, Angelina Cole
  • Midland County Youth Leadership: Angelina Chen, Fundraising Chair and members
  • Coleman Historical Society: Al Selesky, Kathy Methner
