COMMUNITY VOICES NEEDED: RESIDENT MATERIALS MANAGEMENT SURVEY

The eight counties that make up Michigan's Heartland region - Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Mecosta, Midland, Ogemaw, and Osceola - are working together to create a new Materials Management Plan (MMP) to help all of us reduce waste, reuse items, recycle materials, and compost organic materials. You, the residents, are a critical part of this process!

The MMP planning committee has created a survey to gather your perspectives and ideas for improving waste collection and processing. This short survey will take approximately five (5) minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous, with the only identifying information being related to the residents’ county and zip code. Those who take the survey will have the option of including their email address to receive future updates on the MMP process.

You can take the survey online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2LW7FXZ. Please complete the survey by May 30, 2026.
