Is UPS Access Point Safe?

YES! UPS Access points are secure and safe pickup and drop-off locations. These are normally located inside grocery stores or other retail stores to ensure packages remain secured.

To pick up any parcel, you must bring proof of your identity. Usually, a passport with your full name, a driver’s license, or government-issued photo ID will work.

Can I ask Someone Else to Pick up my Package from UPS Access Point?

Yes, if you have availability issues, you can ask anyone else to pick up the parcel for you. They must bring their identity proof, a copy of your identity proof, and an authorization letter from you.

Spectrum and UPS Return

You can drop off your Spectrum equipment at any official The UPS Store location at no cost. Tell the store associate you are returning Spectrum gear; they will box, pack, and ship it for free. Be sure to request and save your tracking receipt. Note that this must be an official The UPS Store, rather than a generic third-party UPS drop-off box or Access Point partner.

Please note the Cleaver office is a UPS Access Point and not a UPS Store.

The Clare County Cleaver office is now a UPS Access Point!

A UPS Access Point is a local, affiliated retail business that provides a secure location for customers to drop off and pick up UPS packages at their convenience. These locations serve as alternative delivery destinations, especially for busy individuals or those who have missed a delivery at home, offering secure, indoor package holding.

Secure Pickup: Packages are held securely and only released to the designated recipient with proper identification.

Convenient Drop-Offs: Customers can easily drop off pre-packaged, pre-labeled shipments for return or outgoing delivery.

Flexibility for Busy Schedules: You can arrange to pick up your package at a convenient time, even outside of typical business hours.

Protection Against Theft: Using an Access Point helps prevent packages from being stolen from porches or stoops.

Secure Holds: If you miss a delivery, your package may be held at a nearby Access Point for a few days for you to collect.

Package Returns: You can conveniently drop off returns at an Access Point, simplifying the return process.

How it Works

1. Choose an Access Point:

You can choose a UPS Access Point during online checkout as your delivery destination or redirect a package to one using services like UPS My Choice.

2. Receive Notification:

You'll get an automatic email or text alert when your package has arrived at the Access Point and is ready for collection.

3. Pick Up Your Package:

Visit the Access Point with the appropriate ID to collect your package.

4. Drop Off a Package:

At any Access Point, you can drop off pre-labeled and pre-packaged shipments for UPS.

The UPS Store: While all UPS Stores are also Access Point locations, a UPS Access Point is not necessarily a UPS Store. The Cleaver is not a UPS Store, and we cannot scan QR codes or send goods that are not already packaged with a return label.

UPS Authorized Service Provider

The Cleaver is not an authorized service provider and at these locations you can create and send a new shipment, Purchase packaging and shipping supplies, drop off pre-packaged, pre-labeled shipments, and pick up redirected or rerouted packages.
