Clare County Sheriff Dept Seeks Help Identifying Person of Interest

On 12/16/2024, the Clare County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a Grant Township resident whom wanted to report his identity stolen. The reporting party disclosed an unknown person, purchased two iPhones from Verizon in his name. He later received a notification that the phones were picked up from a Verizon store in Mt. Pleasant, MI.

Law enforcement made contact with store management at the Mt. Pleasant location where they later obtained store surveillance footage of the male who picked up the phones. Shown below is the person of interest in this case. The Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the male.
