Readers and fans of New York Times bestselling author William Kent Krueger are invited to a special author event on Monday, August 11.  The event will be held at the historic Ideal Theater in downtown Clare. The focus of the evening will be the transformative power of stories and promised to be a meaningful and memorable experience.

Hosted in collaboration with area libraries and local sponsors, the event is funded in part by the Michigan Arts and Culture Council and supported by the Pere Marquette District Library, Harrison District Library, Coleman Area Library, Gladwin County District Library, Surrey Township Public Library, the Ideal Theater, and Sleepy Dog Books.

Following his talk, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author during a book signing session, with books available for purchase on-site.
