HAZEL L. “STEBBIE” HOWAY

Hazel L. 'Stebbie' Howay, age 93,
of Midland, Michigan, formerly of Zephyrhills, Florida and Mt. Pleasant,
Michigan went to her final home with the Lord on Tuesday, September 11,
2007 at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center in Midland, Michigan with
her family at her bedside.
Hazel greeted everyone with love, a twinkle in her eye and a wide
smile. She lived to serve, whether it be family or "children" at the Mt.
Pleasant State Home and Training School, or the person next to her in
line at the check out counter. Her legacy is faith and love which
sustained her and her family.
A celebration of Hazel's life will be held on Friday, September 14,
2007 at 1 p.m. from the Helms Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Wing, Hazel's
nephew, officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Mt.
Pleasant, beside her husband, George. Friends met with the family on
Thursday, September 13 from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. at the Helms Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions in Hazel's memory have been suggested to the
Isabella County Commission on Aging. Envelopes are available at the
funeral home.
Hazel was born on Monday, April 27, 1914 in Mt. Pleasant, the
daughter of Frank and Effie (Berryhill) Wing. She graduated from the Mt.
Pleasant High School at the age of 16 in 1930. Later in life, she was in
the first graduating class of Licensed Psychiatric Attendant Nurses. She
married George Howay on September 5, 1971 in the Congregational Church
in Harrison. George preceded her in death on October 6, 1997.
Hazel was a 32 year resident of Florida, moving there from Mt.
Pleasant. She was retired from the Mt. Pleasant Regional Center after 26
years of service, where she had worked as a supervisor and as
Coordinator of Volunteers. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the
Professional Women's Association of Mt. Pleasant, and the State
Employees Retirement Association. Hazel enjoyed traveling, sewing,
ceramics, knitting, and especially loved her family.
Survivors include her children, George and Barbara Stebbins of
Tampa, Florida, Darla and Michael Beadle of Harrison, Michigan, and
Linda and George Killat of Midland, Michigan; eight grandchildren: Kim,
Mark, and George Stebbins, Tracey Beadle, Trudee Noonan, Tammy Carlstrom,
Dianna Carroll, and Lisa Haas; nine great grandchildren and four great,
great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her
first husband, George Stebbins; both parents; a brother, Robert Wing;
and two sisters: LaVerda Salisbury, and Edith Craft.

DENISE ANN CADREAU
Denise Ann Cadreau, Delta Twp.,
MI, Age 52, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007. Denise was born
November 8, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of John and Jane
(Burns) Cadreau.
A Lansing resident for 30 years, she was formerly employed by SEIU
prior to working for the AFL-CIO as Political director.
Denise graduated from Michigan State University with a Master's degree in
labor relations. She was also a Democratic Precinct Delegate for the
State of Michigan.
A loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend will be missed by
all. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. John Cadreau.
Denise is survived by her 3 children, Francis, Emily and Judith
Klempnow, mother, Jane Cadreau; brother, Dr. Dennis Cadreau; sister,
Liza (Brad) Barrett; nephews, Bret and John Barrett.
Celebration of The Funeral Mass was Thursday, September 13, 2007,
11:00 a.m. at St. Gerard Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. John Klein as
celebrant. Interment followed in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
The family received relatives and friends, Wednesday, September 12,
2007, from 4-7 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush, & Jensen Family Funeral Home,
Delta Chapel, 6020 West Saginaw, Lansing, Michigan 48917.

SANDRA KAY JOHNSON
Sandra Kay Johnson, 57, of
Harrison lost her battle with cancer on September 5, 2007 at the Cancer
Treatment Center of America in Zion, Illinois.
Sandy was born March 4, 1950 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Robert
A. and Nettie E. (Wilbur) Christian. Sandy became the loving wife of
Ronald L. Johnson on February 13, 1976 in Springport, MI. Sandy was the
loving mother of three children, Gary (Darlene) Mead of Albion, MI,
Theresa (Daniel) Tarnowski of Shepherd, MI, and Angela (Jim) Hoskey of
Harrison, MI, 2 Step Children Terry (Larry) Smith of Harrison, MI, and
Bill Johnson of Harrison, MI. Sandy had 10 grandchildren and 1
great-grandchild. She had three sisters, Judy Winchell of Springport,
MI; Mary Lou Spencer of Albion, MI; and Linda (Jim) Lange of Albion, MI.
Her father; stepfather, Raeburn "Baldy" Monroe; Sister, Gloria Jean
Christian; Brother-In-Law, Jeff Johnson; and a grandson, Zach Smith,
preceded Sandy in death.
Sandy loved to fish and spend time with her family. She worked for
Stageright Corporation in Clare until she was forced to retire due to
Cancer.
Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison is handling funeral arrangements
and her final resting place will be at the Hayes Township Cemetery.

MICHAEL LYNN KOURCE
Michael Lynn Kource, 48, of
Harrison, died Friday, September 21, 2007. Michael was born April 20,
1959 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Michael was in the U.S. Marines Corp for 6 years. He served in
Okinawa, Japan, and Cherry Point N.C. He attended Oakland Community
College and graduated with an associates degree.
Surviving is his mother Mary Kource of Harrison, father Raymond &
Nancy Kource, two sisters Pamela Anne Kource of Fayetteville, N.C.,
Patricia Aileen & Bill Kierst of Harrison, one nephew, several aunts,
uncles & cousins. Michael was predeceased by his grandparents and
several uncles.
Funeral services were Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 11am at the
St. Louis First Church of God St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation was
Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 10 to the time of service at 11am.
