BILLIE G. DAVIS
Billie G. Davis,
age 72, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Blodgett
Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born November 10, 1935 in
Clare County, Michigan, the daughter of Elmus Earl and Eva G. (Evelsizer)
Conn. Billie married Melvin J. Davis on February 11, 1956 in Harrison,
Michigan.
Mrs. Davis had spent most of her life residing in Harrison. Billie
enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading books, being outdoors, playing cards
and Bingo. Her family enjoyed her good cooking and she loved spending
time with her family.
Surviving Billie is her loving husband, Melvin J. Davis of Grand
Rapids, Michigan, one son, Russell J. (Candy) Davis of Grand Rapids,
Michigan, one daughter, Jody (Daniel) Davis-Belmore of Marquette,
Michigan, one brother, Elmus Conn of Lone Oak, Texas, one sister, Laura
(Dave) Austin of Higgins Lake, Michigan, six grandchildren, Marie (Josh)
Wright, Tim Davis, Nicole (Mike) Latta, Joe Davis and Ashley and Shayla
Franks, one great-granddaughter, Logan Latta. She was preceded in death
by her parents, one son, Archie Davis, three brothers, Buddy Conn, Jay
Conn and Richard Conn and one sister, Ruth Elmore.
In keeping with Billie's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial services were held on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at
Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating.

PERRY EUGENE NORMAN
Perry Eugene Norman,
age 74, passed away in his home in Sun City West, AZ, on 3/17/2008. He
was born on 6/4/1934 in Genesee County, Michigan, the son of Henry
(Hank) and Maude Norman. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survived by loving wife Barb and sons Gene and Lee, also numerous
grandchildren, brothers Clayton in Florida, and Russell in Arkansas, and
sister Elva Cook in Flushing, Michigan. Preceded in death by Mom and
Dad, half sisters Nellie, Marian, and Leanna, half brother Robert,
brothers Melvin and Wayne, and sisters Kathryn and Donna.
In keeping with Perry's wishes, cremation has taken place. His
internment will be at National Veterans Cemetery in Arizona.

Dec. 29, 1929 ~ Mar. 17, 2008
Regina M. Parks,
nee. Carpenter, age 78, of Riverdale, MI. She is survived by her husband
Lloyd Parks; sister Patricia Ingram; children, C.H. Oakley (Viola),
Delonda Gray (Jack), Allen Oakley (Amy), Gary Oakley, Donald Oakley;
stepchildren, Lynn Barr (Bill), Lee Bassett, Faith Hensel (Steve), Scott
Parks, John Parks (Lynda); 64 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; and
4 great-great grandchildren. Regina was preceded in death by her son
Bill.

ROBERT J. BARYLSKI
Robert Joseph Barylski, age 67, of
Harrison, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at the Gladwin Pines
Nursing Home in Gladwin, Michigan. He was born the son of Leonard and
Marie (Urban) Barylski on September 10, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. In
1979, he was united in marriage to the former Linda Sue Blessinger in
Bradford, Indiana. He was employed as a quality inspector in the
automotive industry and was a member of the St. Athanasius Catholic
Parish in Harrison. He had lived in the Harrison area since 1995 where
he had moved from Jasper, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Linda S. Barylski, of Harrison; his
brother, Ron Barylski, of Riley, Michigan; and his cat, Daisy Lou. He
was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation took place on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 4:00 - 8:00
p.m. at the Stocking Funeral Home with a Rosary taking place at 7:00
p.m. Funeral services took place on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11:00
a.m. from the St. Athanasius Catholic Church with Father Noel Rudy
officiating. In keeping with Robert's wishes, cremation took place after

DARLENE GREER
Darlene A. Greer, age 73, of Lake
George, passed away on Monday, March 17, at Horizon's of Clare. She was
born the daughter of Merl and Aura (Lerch) Rigel on August 19, 1934, in
Dundee, Michigan. She married Charles Greer on April 28, 1956 in Dundee.
Chuck preceded her in death on April 29, 2006. Darlene had been a Nurse
Manager in the Neurology Unit at Toledo Hospital, later becoming a
Nursing Instructor at Monroe Community College. She and Chuck moved to
Lake George in 1979, when she became a Nursing Instructor at Mid
Michigan Community College. She became the Director of Nursing at the
former Clare Community Hospital and retired as the Dean of Allied Health
at Mid Michigan Community College. She was a member of the St.
Athanasius Catholic Church in Harrison, the Lake George Booster's Club,
and the Clare Crazy Quilters.
Darlene is survived by her three daughters; Cynthia and Dan Lehr of
Lake, Angela and Joseph Cacciabaudo of Hamilton Square, New Jersey, and
Anete and Alan White of Farwell. Also surviving are her grandchildren:
Staff Sgt. Jonathan and Bethany Steele, Curran Lehr, Gavin Lehr,
Jennifer Steele, and Vincent Cacciabaudo.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 20, at 4:00 PM at
the Clare Chapel of StephensonWyman Funeral Home where friends met with
her family from 1 PM until the service. Memorials may be made to;
