WOODY DUANE JONES

   Woody Duane Jones, age 61, of Gladwin, formerly of Osceola County, passed away February 22, 2007 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin, Michigan.
   Mr. Jones was born October 13, 1945 in Bitely, Michigan the son of Oakley Woody & Louella Lois (Ives) Jones.
   Woody had been employed as a farm worker at Sandy’s Farm and was a US Army Veteran from the Vietnam era. Mr. Jones was also a member & past president of the Harrison Eagles, Gladwin Odd Fellows (various positions), member of Gladwin Moose Lodge and he also enjoyed fishing and hunting. On June 18, 2006 he married Rebecca Jo Nicholas in Gladwin, Michigan.
   Woody was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Florence and Lauralye.
   Survivors include his wife; Becky Jones, son; Woody Jones Jr. & fiancé Daisy (Indiana), daughter and son-in-law; Lottie & Frank McGovern (Cooperscove, TX), daughter and son-in-law; Billie Jo & James Galloup (Reed City, MI), daughters; Stacy Jones, Gladwin, Lois Allen Jones, Reed City, Ashley Jones, Evart. Grandchildren; Harley, Donan, & Ian McGovern; Christina, Michael & Shirley Galloup; Kaitlyn Jones. Step father; Eugene Longcore. Sister; Alice & Willis Blackledge, Brother; Benny J. Jones. Several nieces & nephews and many special friends.
   Funeral services were held Monday, February 26, 2007 at 11am at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan with Pastor Gary Cooper officiating.
   Visitation was Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 2-9pm.

RICHARD CLEMMONS OLEY

   Richard “Dick” Clemmons Oley 69 of Harrison passed away Monday, February 26, 2007 at his home. Mr. Oley was born July 17, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Clemmons and Sophie (Cyply) Oley.
   Mr. Oley was united in marriage to the former Sharon I. Rudolph on March 19, 1982 in Monroe, Michigan. Dick had resided in Harrison since 1992, coming from Monroe. Richard, his wife and son were very active with the Harrison Sportsman Club since 1992.
   Dick is survived by his loving wife; Sharon I. Oley of Harrison, one son; Douglas Oley and wife Laura of Monroe, three step sons; Jason Linard and wife Claudia also of Monroe, Larry Eberly and wife Kim of Wauseon, Ohio and Ralph Eberly and wife Jackie of Mt. Pelior, Ohio, one adopted grandson; Brandon Oley of Harrison, two step daughters; Ann Bernath of Gladwin, Michigan and Lisa Storms and husband Michael of Harrison, one brother; Edward Oley and wife Linda of Port Richey, Florida, two sisters; Ann Nichols of Florida and Mary Scooley and husband Robert of Henderson, Nevada, thirteen grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

CARL DELORGE

   Carl DeLorge, age 76, of Harrison, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center in Clare. He was born the son of Orman and Ruth (Haber) DeLorge on October 9, 1930 in Romeo, Michigan. On January 26,1963, he was united in marriage to Kathleen W. Raymond in Lake Orion Township, Michigan. Carl also retired from Daimler Chrysler after 31 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, going deer hunting & fishing, and watching western television shows. He had lived in the Harrison area since May 1, 1977 where he had moved from Pontiac, Michigan.
   He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of Harrison; his son, Allen Carl DeLorge of Fenton, Michigan; and his brother, Gerald DeLorge, of Pontiac, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joyce Kirkham. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison, Michigan.

CAROL A. HARRISON

   Carol A. Harrison, age 68, of Harrison, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2007 at her home in Harrison. She was born the daughter of Owen B. and Lorraine M. (Krause) Pedigo on April 08, 1938 in Lansing, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Donald B. Harrison on December 23, 1964 in Lansing, Michigan. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Carol had lived in the Harrison area since 1990 where she had moved from Lansing, Michigan.
   She is survived by her husband, Donald D. Harrison, of Harrison, Michigan; a daughter, Lori E. Harrison of Harrison, and her grandson, Mike Owen Harrison and his fiancee, Desiree Dora, also of Harrison. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents.
   In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan. Arrangements were entrusted to the Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison.

LARRY ROBERT IRONS

   Larry Robert Irons 59 of Harrison passed away at his home on Sunday, March 4, 2007. Larry was born December 25, 1948 in Owosso, Michigan, the son of Charles Robert Irons and Maureen Dorothy (Miller) Irons. Mr. Irons served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Larry had resided in Harrison since 1990, coming from Dickson, Tennessee. Mr. Irons was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 1075 of Harrison, a member of the American Legion Post 225 of Lansing, Michigan, North American Iroquois Veterans Association of Jamestown, New York, Metis Tribe and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans-Chapter 105. Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing music.
   Surviving are his parents; Charles R. and Maureen D. Irons of Harrison, several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Tim Tanner officiating. Visitation will be held also on Friday from 10: 00 a.m. until time of services. Military honors were under the auspices of the V.F.W. Post 1075 of Harrison.
