RICHARD “DICK” NOWOSAD
Richard "Dick" Michael
Nowosad 74 of Harrison passed away Friday, May 25th, 2007 at Mid
Michigan Regional Medical Center-Clare. Mr. Nowosad was born May 15,
1933 in Hamtramck, Michigan the son of Michael and Katherine (Ziolkowski)
Nowosad. Mr. Nowosad served his country in the United States Army during
the Korean Conflict. Richard was united in marriage to the former Doris
Ann Crampton on August 24, 1957 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Mr. Nowosad had resided in Harrison since 1997, coming from Madison
Heights, Michigan. He was a member of the American Legion Post 404 of
Harrison, where he was very proud to serve with the Honor Guard and the
Fraternal Order of Eagles-Aerie #3541 of Harrison. While Richard resided
in Madison Heights, he was involved in little league baseball, as a
coach, manager and a commissioner. Richard enjoyed fishing and spending
time on the lake.
Surviving is his loving wife, Doris Ann Nowosad of Harrison, three
sons: Michael Richard Nowosad and Donna of Holt, Michigan, Mark David
Nowosad of Harrison Township, Michigan and Kim Daniel Nowosad and wife
Terri of Sterling Heights, Michigan, one daughter, Katherine Ann Kleinow
and husband Glenn of Clawson, Michigan, one brother, Thaddeus "Ted"
Nowosad of Florida, two sisters: Lottie Kalakay of Detroit, Michigan and
Irene Siekierda of Warren, Michigan, six grandchildren: Carl, Erica,
David, Timothy "Tim", Kelsey and Rachel, plus several nieces and
nephews. Mr. Nowosad was preceded in death by his parents and one
sister, Genevieve Biernacki.
Memorial services were held Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 3:00 p.m.
from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Father Patrick Jankowiak
officiating. Inurnment was in St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery,
Harrison, with military honors services conducted under the auspices of
the American Legion Post 404 of Harrison. Memorial contributions in

HAZEL CHRISTINE HUBERT
Hazel Christine
Hubert, age 69, of Harrison, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2007 at
the Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center in Clare, Michigan. She was
born the daughter of Arthur C. and Christine (Winters) Bischoff on
November 7, 1937 in Great Berrington, Massachusetts. She was united in
marriage to Lester Hubert on February 23, 1980 in Taylor, Michigan. Mr.
Hubert preceded Hazel in death on March 16, 1993.
Mrs. Hubert had resided in Harrison since 1983, coming from Leslie,
Michigan. Hazel was a life member of the American Legion Post 404 Ladies
Auxiliary of Harrison.
Surviving are her loving children, two sons: Daniel Patch and wife
Mary of Houghton Lake, Michigan and Darren Patch and wife Shawna of
Franklin, Indiana, two daughters: Sarah M. Fini and husband Dennis of
Taylor and Nora Torzewski of Erie, Michigan, three step-sons: Dale
Hubert of Harrison, Michael Hubert of New Boston, Michigan and David
Hubert and wife Carla of Taylor, three step-daughters: Cheryl Shover and
husband Steve of Flat Rock, Michigan, Debra Pellashok of New Boston and
Kay Ford and husband Daniel of Woodhaven, Michigan, four brothers:
Arthur Bischoff of St. Louis, Missouri, Joshua Bischoff and wife Linda
of Napoleon, Michigan, Johnathon Bischoff and wife Wanda of Francis,
Oklahoma and Jeremiah Bischoff also of Francis, Oklahoma, two sisters:
Marty Kasperzak and husband Vince of Howell, Michigan and Karen Heiney
also of Howell, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, plus
numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel also was preceded in death by her
parents, the father of her children, Eugene S. Patch, two sons: David
and Michael Patch, one step-son, Donald Hubert, one sister, Sarah
Bischoff and two grandchildren: Stephanie Christine Patch-Petty and
Joseph Torzewski.
Memorial services for Hazel were held Tuesday, June 12th 2007 at 1:00
p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Rev. Calvin D. Long

ROGER ERNEST KLEINHARDT
Roger Ernest Kleinhardt, age 92,
passed away peacefully at his home in Clare, after a lengthy illness on
June 11, 2007. He was born in Clare County on April 21, 1915, the second
of four sons to the Rev. Charles E. and Nina V. (Spigelmire) Kleinhardt.
He was married to Vera Irene Hendrie in Clare County by his Father in
1935. They were married for 71 years. Roger retired from CMF in Clare on
August 23, 1980 after 24 years. He had previously worked at Bower Roller
Bearing in Detroit, Holley Carburetor in Clare, the Clare County Road
Commission, Magnus Tractor Sales, and also farmed throughout his entire
life. He enjoyed showing his small engines and antique tools after his
retirement. He was a member of the 20 Lakes Tractor Club and traveled
throughout Michigan to numerous steam engine shows. He also enjoyed
auctions, gardening, camping, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife and care giver, Vera and their
five children, Joyce (Bob) Schellhas, Carol (Tom) Beatty, Jay (Karen)
Kleinhardt, Gayla (Del) Wiley and Karen (Mike Ireland) Kleinhardt. He is
also survived by his grandchildren, Bobby (Caroline) Schellhas, Tammy
(Kevin) Haynak, Shelia (Luke) Line, Keith (Teri) Beatty, Kraig (Andrea)
Beatty, Jaime Kleinhardt, Jody Kleinhardt, Carrie (Michael) Mcfalda,
Janelle (John) McFalden, Pat Jesse, Shad Smith, Sommer Wiley, Jim Wiley,
Jay Wiley, and Ryan Kleinhardt; 16 great grandchildren; brother Charles
(Enna) Kleinhardt; sister-in-law Dola (Floyd) Kleinhardt, and numerous
nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, brothers
Royal and Robert, and a sister-in-law Ann Kleinhardt.
Services will take place on Thursday, June 14 at 11:00 A.M. at the
Clare United Methodist Church with Pastor Dennis Bromley and Mr.
Lawrence D. Wyman, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove
Cemetery in Clare. Friends may meet with Rogers's family on Wednesday,
June 13th from 2-5 and 7-9 at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman

JOANNE MARIE ROBBINS
Joanne Marie Robbins 68 of Harrison
passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007 at her home. Joanne was born
September 12, 1938 in Deckerville, Michigan, the daughter of Harold and
Arlie L. (Yake) Wolck. Joanne had resided in Harrison since 1987, coming
from West Bloomfield, Michigan. Mrs. Robbins enjoyed gardening, caring
for her flowers and had a great love for nature.
Surviving is her loving daughter, Carol A. Wood of Harrison, her
mother, Arlie L. Wolck also of Harrison, three granddaughters: Erin Lee
Jordan and husband Travis, Kelly Ann Wood and Katie Jo Wood, one
great-granddaughter, Montana Rose Jordan. Joanne was preceded in death
by her father.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 11, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from
Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. Burial was in Downing Cemetery,
Deckerville, Michigan. Memorial contributions in memory of Joanne may be
