Brondstetter, Terry
R., 62 years old of Hemlock, Michigan.
Beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend
passed away suddenly, Sunday, December 24, 2006 at his residence.
Terry was born January 15, 1944 in Twining, Michigan to Robert and
Margaret (Gartner) Brondstetter. He married Sandra Arthur, June 29,
1973. She survives him. He was owner of Harrison Carpet and Sleep Shop.
He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran church in Harrison. He enjoyed
hunting, fishing, bowling, woodworking and playing with his
grandchildren.
Surviving besides his wife and parents are five daughters and their
husbands:Teri-Sue and Terry Johnson, Flint, MI.; Shelly and Dave Wangler,
West Branch, MI.; Sheila Young and her special friend, Norm Piotrowski,
Linwood, MI.; Lacy and Glenn Hardy, Auburn, MI.; Jody and Matt Dowland,
Midland, Mi.; eleven grandchildren, Melissa and Tiffany Johnson; Brian,
Brad, Brett, Kyle and Jake Wangler; Joe and Josh Young; Brenden Hardy
and Mason Dowland; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Joe Kozumplik,
Freeland, MI.; his mother-in-law, Bernice Arthur; a sister-in-law, Judy
Freeman and her husband Leroy; two nephews and their wives, Scott and
Karen Freeman; Craig and Melissa Freeman. He was predeceased by a
brother, Bobby Brondstetter.
The funeral service took place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 29,
2006, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Hemlock. Rev.
Edward Pankow and Rev. Michael W. Schaedig officiated with burial in
Owen Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral
Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday and then at the
Church from 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral service.

THOMAS A. CAMPBELL
Thomas A. Campbell 63 of Ypsilanti,
Michigan, formerly of Harrison, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006
at St. Joseph Hospital, Ypsilanti. Mr. Campbell was born April 23, 1943
in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Atwood A. and Susan J. (Beemer) Campbell.
Surviving are his brother; Mr. Homer Campbell and wife Sue of
Marquette, Michigan. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.

KRISTEN MARIE STRATTON
Kristen Marie Stratton
40, of Hatton Township, Harrison passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006
at Saint Mary’s Mercy Medical Center-Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kristen was
born January 11, 1966 in Livonia, Michigan, the daughter of Arthur P.
and Patricia A. (Nelson) Harrington. Kristen had resided in the Harrison
area since 1978, coming from Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Kristen enjoyed fishing, boating, snowmobiling, camping, bowling,
playing bingo and crocheting. Kristen loved her dogs and was an avid
Detroit Red Wings fan.
Surviving are her loving daughters; Kiley A.E. Stratton of Harrison
and Kelsey M. Stratton also of Harrison, a special companion and friend;
Eric Hubble of Harrison, parents; Arthur “Art” and Patricia “Pat”
Harrington also of Harrison, two sisters; Kimberly Walker of Farmington
Hills, and Kelly Doyle of Williamsburg, Virginia, several aunts and
uncles and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00
a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Rev. Steve Dobyns
officiating. Burial was in St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Harrison.

MAXINE E. FREDERICK
Maxine Elinor Frederick 76 of Remus,
Michigan passed away Monday, January 1, 2007 at her family’s home.
Maxine was born April 8, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of
William Freemont Joles Sr. and Mary Evelyn (McKinnon) Joles. Maxine was
united in marriage to Walter A. Frederick Jr. on April 14, 1949 in Bear
Lake, Michigan. Mr. Frederick preceded Maxine in death on December 4,
1990.
Mrs. Frederick had resided in Harrison and Florida for many years.
Maxine’s greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren. Maxine was a
past member of the V.F.W. Post 1075 of Harrison, Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her loving daughters; Judy Kushmaul and husband Alvin
of Arcadia, Michigan and Kathy Strong and husband Robert of Remus, three
sons; Roger Frederick and wife April of Spring Lake, Florida, Jonathan
Frederick of Novi, Michigan and Patrick Frederick and wife Cynthia of
Caledonia, Michigan, one brother; Daniel A. Joles and wife Linda of
Detroit, Michigan, one sister; Sandra A. Myers of Clearwater, Florida,
fourteen grandchildren: Timothy, Christopher, Heather, Kristina,
Matthew, Samantha, Daniel, Nicholas, Amanda, Candace, Kami, Tanner,
Haylie and Gracie, seven great-grandchildren: Jackson, Luke, Caleb,
Jacob, Morgan, Madison and Calvin, plus many nieces and nephews. Maxine
was also preceded in death by her parents and two sons; Harvey Frederick
in 1977 and Jeffrey Frederick in 1988.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.

officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial
