GENEVA EVA GAMBLE

Geneva E. Gamble, age 85 of Harrison,
formerly of Flint, passed away Monday, January 23, 2006 at her home.
Geneva was born April 3, 1920 in Port Huron, the daughter of Charles W.
and Carrie L. (Wilder) Hearn. Geneva was united in marriage to John
Charles Gamble on September 4, 1945 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Mr. Gamble
preceded Geneva in death on May 14, 1996.
Mrs. Gamble was a member of Harrison Church of God, American Legion
Post 404 Ladies Auxiliary of Harrison. Geneva enjoyed cooking and
canning for her family and friends.
Surviving are: one son; John "Chuck" Gamble and wife Reta of
Cadillac, Michigan, five daughters; Carol Cooke and husband Chuck of
Moore Haven, Florida, Bonnie Pearce of Corunna, Michigan, Mary Jo Dean
of Flint, Sue Hinton and husband Randy of Fenton, Michigan and Pam
Hughes and husband Gerry of Harrison, one brother; Loren Hearn and wife
Jeanne of Port Huron, Michigan, twenty two grandchildren and twenty one
great grandchildren. Mrs. Gamble was preceded in death by her parents,
two sons; Bob Gamble and Fred Thomas, one daughter; Sherry Martindale
and two brothers; Gordon and Charles Hearn.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Steve Richardson
officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial
contributions in memory of Mrs. Gamble may be considered to: American
Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or New River of Hope

WINTERS
Timothy J. Winters, of Munger, Michigan formerly of Holly, age 45,
died Saturday January 28, 2006, due to an automobile accident, at Hurley
Medical Center in Flint. Memorial visitation will be held 3-4PM
Wednesday February 1, 2006 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Per his wishes Cremation has taken place. Contributions may be made to a
trust fund for his son Brandon Winters. Surviving are son,
Brandon; brothers and sisters, Fred Beemer, Phillis (Steven) Masters,
Lynette Winters, Dixie Winters and Charlie (Dawn) Beemer; several
nieces, nephews and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Marvin and Betty Winters.

Jack V. Grow, age 74, passed away February 19,
2006. Beloved husband of Nancy. Loving father of Mark Grow, Dawn (Bill)
Butzky and Michael Grow. Dear grandfather of five and great_grandfather
of four. No service was held. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of
Michigan.

MARGARET A. FENNER
Margaret Amanda Fenner
age 66 passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Covenant
Hospital-Cooper Campus in Saginaw. She was born May 1, 1939 in Monica
Kentucky; the daughter of Earl and Mary Eugenia (Whisman) Davis. On
November 18, 1965 Margaret wed Mr. Harold Glenn Fenner in Waterford,
Michigan. The couple resided in Harrison for the past 10 years coming
from Waterford, Michigan. Margaret attended the United Brethren Church
of Harrison and in her past time enjoyed reading.
Surviving are her husband Harold, two sons; Raymond Halicek of
Michigan and Harold Fenner Jr. of Harrison, four step-sons; Jeffery
Fenner of Pontiac, Steven Fenner of Florida, Kevin Fenner of Maine and
Tracy Fenner of Florida, two brothers; Marvin E. (Joean) Davis of Holly,
Michigan and Robert L. (Colleen) Davis of Antioch, California, one
grandson; Jeffery Fenner, one granddaughter; Elizabeth Fenner and her
father Earl Davis. Margaret was preceded in death by her mother on
February 5, 2002.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 1:00
p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Palmer officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial
contributions may be considered to the United Brethren Church of

RICHARD T. STRAKA
Richard T. Straka
age 67 of Harrison passed away on February 6, 2006 at Central Michigan
Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. He was born the son of George and
Emma Barbara (Kampf) Straka on January 8, 1939 in Union Township,
Isabella County, Michigan. Richard wed Norma Davis on May 16, 1959 at
St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Rosebush, Michigan. For the past twenty
years the couple has resided in Harrison, coming from Mt. Pleasant.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping,
boating, woodworking and spending time with his children.
Surviving is his loving wife Norma, three sons; Timothy (Cindy)
Straka of Lowell, Michigan, Thomas (Karen) Straka of Wilmington, North
Carolina and Richard Straka of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, one daughter;
Patricia Arndt of Wilmington, North Carolina, one brother; George Straka
of Holly, Michigan and two grandchildren; Erica and Samantha. Richard
was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at
3:00pm from Stocking Funeral Home with Pastor Marion Hall officiating.
Richard’s family will be receiving friends from 2:00 –– 3:00 p.m. on
February 9, 2006. Memorial contributions may be considered to the

DOROTHY S. RICH
Dorothy S. Rich, age 96, passed away on
Friday, February 10th, 2006 at MidMichigan Medical Center Clare in Clare
Michigan.
She was born November 29th 1909 in Los Angeles, California.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Patricia
Pawloski of Harrison, Michigan.
There will be a graveside service at Lake View Cemetery in Trout Lake
Michigan at a later date to be determined.
