WILLIS DALE WELDON

   Willis Dale Weldon, 88 of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2008 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Midland, Michigan. Dale was born November 20, 1920 in Gladwin, Michigan, the son of Bill and Millie (Haines) Weldon. Dale had resided in Harrison most of his life. Mr. Weldon was united in marriage to the former Delma J. Woods on October 6, 1945 in Addison, New York. Mrs. Weldon preceded Dale in death on February 9, 2008.
   Dale was the co-owner of Weldon's Transit Mix of Harrison for twenty years until it was purchased by his sons in 1976. He was a former co-owner of Northern Pipeline Company and worked on the first Alaskan Pipeline and also the Venezuelan Pipeline. Mr. Weldon was an avid pilot, holding his instrument rating and pilot's license for over sixty years. Dale was a charter member of HAEDCO, a past member of Harrison Chamber of Commerce and also a past member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
   Surviving Dale are four sons: Dean Weldon and wife Linda of Harrison, Darrell Weldon and wife Sherry also of Harrison, David Weldon and wife Lori of Haines, Alaska and Doug Weldon and wife Beth of Harrison, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two brothers: Delmer Weldon and wife Daisy Belle of Gladwin and Wilbur Weldon and wife Louise of Clare, Michigan, five sisters: Doris Reed of Livonia, Michigan, Isabelle Edick of Flint, Michigan, Irene Muma of Gladwin, Jean Bowen and husband Lloyd of Gladwin and Joanne Chaffee and husband Don of Vanderbilt, Michigan, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Dale also was preceded in death by his parents.
   Funeral services took place on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Chuck Malson officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison. NORMAN WESLEY MOSEY

   Norman Wesley Mosey, 83 of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Butterworth Campus of Spectrum Health, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mr. Mosey was born November 13, 1925 in Meade Township, Huron County, Michigan, the son of Rowland A. and Eliza J. (Carriveau) Mosey. Mr. Mosey served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Norman was united in marriage to the former Donna Mae Garver on November 28, 1946 in Arthur Township, Clare County, Michigan.
   Mr. Mosey had resided in Harrison since 1984, coming from Bellville, Michigan. Norman was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrison.
   Surviving is his loving wife, Donna Mae Mosey of Harrison, two sons: Gary N. Mosey and wife Susan of Yorkville, Illinois and Bill Mosey and wife Lugene of Middleville, Michigan, three daughters: Marsha Spickenagel and husband Dennis of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Debra Grandmason and husband Robert of Jenison, Michigan and Susan Honeycutt and husband Mark of McHenry, Illinois, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Mosey was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: John, Lewis, Perry and Gordon and two sisters: Della and Doris Mosey.
   Funeral services for Mr. Mosey were held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church, Harrison, with Pastor Tim Tanner officiating. Burial is in the Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison. Military honors were conducted under the auspices of V.F.W. Post 1075 of Harrison. BREANNA LYNNE ASHLEY

   Breanna Lynne Ashley, 17, of Temple, Michigan passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Clare. Breanna was born December 15, 1990 in Midland, Michigan, the daughter of Keith L. and Melissa R. (Mann) Ashley. Breanna had resided in Temple since 2007, coming from Gladwin.
   Ms. Ashley attended Marion High School, Marion, Michigan where she was a senior in high school. Breanna enjoyed reading, snowmobiling, fishing, tubing, camping, working on her computer and writing poetry.
Surviving is her mother, Melissa R. Mann of Richmond, Virginia, her father, Keith L. Ashley and step- mother, Anna Ashley of Gladwin, step-father, Brett Edick also of Gladwin, maternal grandparents, Irvin and Sandra Mann of Harrison, paternal grandparents, Kenneth N. and Shirley Ashley of Beaverton, step-paternal grandparents, Tim and LaVilla Edick of Gladwin, one sister, Tesla Edick of Gladwin, one step-brother, Koty LaPorte of Gladwin, two half-sisters: Chelsea Estes of Farwell, Michigan and Chasitie Estes also of Farwell, two step-sisters: Jessica Black of Madison, Wisconsin and Shannon Berger of Coleman, one maternal aunt, Kenda Parker and husband Daryl of Coleman, two paternal uncles, Kenneth Ashley Jr. and wife Mary Slusser of Gladwin and Kevin Ashley and Lucinda Parker also of Gladwin, one paternal aunt, Beccy Clennan and husband Brian of Harrison, plus several cousins and close friends. Breanna was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Lucille B. Ashley.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Rev. William Lowe officiating. Inurnment will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Harrison. PEGGY ANN ALLEN

   Peggy Ann Allen, 56, of Harrison, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 at Mid Michigan Medical Center-Midland. Peggy was born November 12, 1952 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Donald and Bertha (Lumbert) Morgan.
   Peggy had resided in Harrison since 1998, coming from Holt, Michigan. Mrs. Allen enjoyed fishing, reading and traveling.
   Surviving are her two sons: Jessie L. West and his companion, Patricia Judd of Harrison and Tony Uodiallis of Lansing, Michigan, her mother, Bertha Morgan of Harrison, three sisters: Jackie Morgan of Harrison, Susie Conner of Plymouth, Michigan and Vicki Torrez of Lansing, six grandchildren, her cat, Nubs and her dog, Pippi. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her father.
   In following Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. TERESA ANN BLUMERICH

   Teresa (Terry) Ann Blumerich, 47, passed away, Thursday, November 27th at her home in Gladwin.
   Terry was born October 9, 1961 in Pontiac, MI. The daughter of Richard Raymond and Lorraine Jewell (Stobbs) Blumerich.
   She was preceded in death by her sister Diana, her parents and grandparents.
   Surviving is her step mother Bille Sue Hardy of Lansing, five brothers; Rick Blumerich & wife Missy of Harrison, Tim Blumerich & wife Betty of Ionia, Keven Blumerich of Lansing, Steven Blumerich & wife Val of Mason and Chris Tant & wife Carrie of Ann Arbor, two sisters; Kay Blumerich and close friend Steve of Florida and Irene Melton and husband Ken of Florida, four children; Pam, Susie, Dokota, Mike and her uncle Jim and wife Kathy and many nieces and nephews & friends.
   A memorial service will be held December 13th at Cedar River Chapel, 2766 River Rd., Beaverton at 1pm.
