HAROLD R. VIELHABER

   Harold Raymond Vielhaber, 69, of Harrison, MI, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 at his home in Zephyrhills, FL., after a 2 year battle with cancer. Mr. Vielhaber was born November 28, 1937 in North Branch, Michigan, the son of Raymond and Clara (Schumacher) Vielhaber.
   Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Junjoy (Barber), wife Darla (Moore), four sisters; Margaret (Vielhaber) Somerset, Lois (Vielhaber) Loretitsch, Marion (Vielhaber) Black, Helen (Vielhaber) Daech, and granddaughter Daisy Vielhaber.
   Harold is survived by his wife; Mary Vielhaber of Harrison, two sisters; Grace (Vielhaber) Daukantas and husband Stanley of Marlette, MI, and Doris (Vielhaber) Lisek of Marlette, MI, four sons; Peter Vielhaber and wife Janet of Bondorant, IA, Richard Vielhaber and wife Cindy of Capac, MI, Karl Vielhaber and wife Lisa of Kenna, WV, and Matthew Vielhaber of Lansing, MI, daughter Junjoy Vielhaber of Harrison, MI, ten grandchildren; Lynn Royer and husband Anthony of Minburn, IA, Peter Vielhaber Jr. and wife Mindy of DeSoto, IA, April Vielhaber of Imlay City, MI, Richard Vielhaber Jr. of Capac, Ml, Pamela McCauley and husband Justin of Ripley, WV, Charles Wood of Kenna, WV, Christopher Wood of Kenna, WV, Kenneth Vielhaber of Kenna, WV, Devin Vielhaber of Charlotte, MI, and Alyssa Vielhaber of Charlotte, MI, three great-grandchildren; Nathan and Wesley Royer of Minburn, IA, and Christian Gage McCauley of Ripley, WV, plus numerous nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.
   In following Mr. Vielhaber's wishes, immediate cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Leota Community Church in Harrison, MI. Please contact the Leota Community Church at 989-539-1590 for directions to the service. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Branch, MI, after the memorial service.

VIVIAN JEAN EASTON 

"STRAWBERRY LADY"

   Vivian Jean Easton, 80, of Harrison passed away Monday, March 26th, 2007 at Brian's House, Bay City, Michigan. Vivian was born December 2, 1926 in Trimountain, MI, the daughter of Chester McKinley and Edna Margaret (Olson) Perkins. Vivian was united in marriage to William H. Easton Sr. on July 16, 1944 in Berkley, MI. Mr. Easton preceded Vivian in death on August 30, 1991.
   Mrs. Easton had resided in Harrison since 1971, coming from Southfield, MI. Vivian was an active member with the Harrison Lioness Club. Vivian enjoyed traveling to many Lioness conventions, she also enjoyed quilting, word search and jig saw puzzles, baking and watching deer and rabbits.
   Surviving are her loving children; two sons; William H. Easton Jr. of Tecumseh, MI and Gary Easton and wife Geralyn of Madison Heights, MI, four daughters; Pamela K. Kopicko of Perry, MI, Diane Boatman and husband Marty of Southfield, Paula Young and husband John R. of Weatherford, TX and Margaret Price and husband Linn of Harrison, one brother; Ronald Perkins of Hazel Park, MI, one sister; Faye Innes and husband John of Bristol, IN, nineteen grandchildren, forty two great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Easton also was preceded in death by her parents and four great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Chuck Malson officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
