James "Jim" A. Hamilton

Mr. James "Jim" Hamilton 40 of
Harrison passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006. Jim was born January 25,
1966 in Livonia, MI, the son of Guy and Nelda (Wilkson) Hamilton. Mr.
Hamilton was united in marriage to Catherine Goodnough on October 11,
2003 in Farwell, MI. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes,
working on automobiles and spending time with his family.
Surviving Jim is his loving wife; Catherine, two sons; James
Hamilton Jr. from Westland, MI, Justin Hamilton of Harrison, one
daughter; Kimberly (Joshua) Laughter of Lake George, MI, two step-sons;
Timothy and Sanchez Goodnough of Harrison, one step-daughter; Sonyia
Holmun of Harrison, one step-brother; Kevin Duke of Westland, MI, two
sisters; Elizabeth Hamilton and Cherie Vallieres both of Westland, MI,
and one grandchild; April Hamilton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2006 from 7-9pm from

WOODROW W. STRUBLE

Woodrow W. Struble, of Grass Lake,
formerly of Harrison, passed away April 9, 2006, at age 91. Survived by
his wife, Fay, of 56 years; three sons Steve, Carl and Chris; one
granddaughter Wendy Cunningham; three great-grandchildren Jesse, Dylan
and Hallie.
He served in the Army during WWII. Funeral services were held at
the Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home,in Jackson on Friday, April 14 at
10:30 AM. Burial was in Arborcrest Memorial Park, Ann Arbor.

Richard “Dick” G. Wilson

Mr. Richard Wilson,
79 of Harrison passed away April 5, 2006 after a short stay at Mid
Michigan Regional Medical Center-Gladwin. Dick was born on March 8, 1927
the son of Gailey and Genevieve (Clark) Wilson. Mr. Wilson was united in
marriage to Marjorie (Kuntze) in Port Austin, MI. on November 11, 1984.
Dick served in the United States Navy for twelve years, he served
aboard the fleet tug USS Paiute, which operated under the Commander
Service Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, out of Norfolk, VA. He retired as a
Captain from the Lansing Fire Department Local #421 on February 3, 1984
after 30 loyal years of service. Mr. Wilson was also a member of The
American Legion Post 404, Harrison and Harrison Moose Lodge #2235. Dick
enjoyed being outdoors, either on the lake fishing or in the woods
hunting.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife Marge, a son; Richard
(Stephanie) Wilson Jr. of Nashville, MI, a daughter; Linda Cary of
Lansing, MI, three step-sons; David (Vickie) Kerr of Harrison, Mark
(Kim) Kerr and Paul Kerr both of Bad Axe, MI, two sisters; Rosalie
Richter of Barryton, MI, Genevieve (Walter) Carter of Stanton MI, nine
grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and
one step-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Richard was
preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Genevieve Reeves, a
brother; Perry Wilson, three sisters; Pauline, Marguerite and Theora.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilson were Saturday, April 8, 2006 from
Stocking Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Lynn Chappell officiating.
Interment was Deepdale Memorial Gardens Lansing, MI. Those wishing to
